Electric vehicle drivers typically charge their vehicles at home, however there will be times when they need to charge away from home.
By providing recommendations for public charging infrastructure, the Government is helping to ensure the national network of charging stations is aligned, safe and reliable, giving drivers the confidence to make longer trips in electric vehicles.
This guidance is primarily for organisations setting up public charging infrastructure, both those who are new to electric vehicle charging infrastructure and those already involved in developing infrastructure. The information may also be useful for organisations setting up restricted infrastructure.
