Text message scams may say you need to do something like:

  • renew your driver licence, vehicle licence (rego) or vehicle registration
  • renew within the next 24 hours
  • pay your overdue tolls or other bills
  • take action on a safety camera offence, speeding ticket or traffic ticket.

How to tell it’s not a genuine text message from us

  • We only send text reminders from the number 3651.
  • We don't include links to online transactions.
