Highway repair work following recent wet weather will include some overnight works and could result in short delays for night-time road users, says Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency.
Drivers should prepare for delays on State Highway 6 near Murchison this Friday (2 September) as contractors extend the container wall at Dellows Bluff.
After an immense amount of work by contractors, the last closed section of State Highway 6 between Blenheim and Nelson will reopen to traffic at one pm tomorrow (Wednesday, 31 August).
Contractors continue to make substantial progress in reopening State Highway 6 to residents and road users. From 10 am this morning, the road closures are being shifted on the Marlborough side, allowing Rai Valley residents access to Blenheim.
