Motorists driving to or around Auckland Airport tomorrow afternoon (Thursday, 21 March) are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time because of an event with potential to cause disruption on the transport network.
As part of the New Zealand Transport Agency’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the State Highway network, road surface investigation works will begin this Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st March on State Highway 2 on the main street of Ngatea.
Drivers who normally travel on State Highway 73, between Canterbury and the West Coast via Arthur’s Pass, will need to take the Lewis Pass (SH7 via Reefton and Waipara) this Sunday and Monday nights.
