Essential maintenance work will be underway on State Highway 2 between Wellington and Petone next week, with the Ngauranga offramp to be closed for essential maintenance.
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is advising motorists that the Churton Park southbound off-ramp on the Wellington urban motorway will be closed between 9pm tonight (Thursday 18 April) and 4.30am tomorrow (Friday 19 April) for essential resurfacing work.
There has been a scheduling change for these works. This work will now be done on the night of Thursday, 18 April – not Wednesday, 17 April as previously indicated.
NZTA/Waka Kotahi is encouraging drivers in the lower North and Upper South Island heading away for a long Easter weekend to take some simple steps to ensure they get where they’re going safely.
