The Minister has signed Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Dimensions and Mass Amendment 2010, which makes changes to the mass and dimension limits for heavy vehicles, and allows the granting of permits for 'high-productivity motor vehicles' to operate on approved routes at greater mass and dimensions limits than otherwise allowed.
