Maintenance work is scheduled to take place on State Highway 1 (SH1) from Manukau to Drury this Sunday 9 June between 9pm and 5am. During this closure, maintenance activities will be carried out in combination with the Papakura to Drury Project.
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) has installed winter snow gates on either side of Porters Pass, one of the steepest and most elevated sections of SH73 linking the West Coast and Canterbury.
State Highway 3 (SH3) at the Rangitikei Street/Featherston Street intersection in Palmerston North will be under temporary traffic management for 6 nights, starting on Thursday 6 June through to Thursday 13 June (no crews will be working Friday or Saturday nights).
As work continues at the Pāpāmoa East Interchange, the westbound lanes on State Highway 2 Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road (TELTR) will close for 3 nights from Monday 10 June between 8pm and 5am each night.
