A community calling for improvements to a high-risk intersection, can now have its say on Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency’s proposal to construct a roundabout where State Highway 23 and State Highway 39 meet in Whatawhata.
Roadwork activity within the Waikato region will be moooved aside this week, as Fieldays takes place at Mystery Creek from Wednesday 30 November to Saturday 3 December.
A temporary but significant change for Truman Lane traffic will be put in place early December to enable the next stage of road reconstruction in the area.
Due to the poor weather forecasted this Sunday night and early next week, there has been a change in programme for the State Highway 25 Hikuai River Bridge deck replacement works.
Update: The planned two-day closure of SH1 Desert Road between Rangipo and Waiouru will be extended to a third day, as work is taking a little longer than we’d anticipated. This will see the road closed between 7am and 5pm on Friday 11 November.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises the following works through State Highway 2 (SH2) Tauranga to Waihī, including the Takitimu North Link project between Tauriko and Bethlehem, during the coming weeks.
