Gladstone Road Bridge will be reduced to one lane with stop/go controllers on Thursday 1 November. The historic bridge is currently being widened to create a shared walking and cycling path, as part of Gisborne’s Urban Cycleways Programme, aimed at getting more locals on their bikes.
