The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists that the Tauherenikau Bridge on State Highway 53 between Featherston and Martinborough in the Wairarapa will remain closed while contractors continue to carry out road repairs. The road is expected to re-open by mid-morning tomorrow (Friday).
A detour route is available via State Highway 2 and Number 1 Line.
