Over the next two nights, further structural works will take place on SH1 Dome Valley to repair a retaining wall. This will take place tonight (Monday 27 February) and tomorrow night (Tuesday 28 February) under a stop/go from 7pm – 5am. There is a possibility this work may take longer.
If you are driving through Dome Valley, please drive to the conditions, obey the temporary speed limits and be patient.
While rain over the weekend caused some small slips, these have now been cleared and we're still tracking well.
Based on the latest assessments, we’re aiming to fully reopen the road in late March, and we’re hoping some controlled access can happen prior to that.
