The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise motorists that occasional delays may be experienced as road works to upgrade Te Kowhai and Limmer Roads reaches the intersection of State Highway 39 at Horotiu Road this week.
The Transport Agency’s Project Services Manager Peter Simcock says works to upgrade Te Kowhai and Limmer Roads is making good progress with the project expected to be completed by the end of May this year.
“We aim to keep delays down to minimum, some delays are likely, particularly at the intersection which will see traffic reduced to a single lane at times,” says Mr Simcock.
He says heavy vehicles should consider alternative routes while work continues along this route to ensure they reach their desired destination in time.
