SH32 Western Bay Road has reopened to one lane under traffic management this evening, Wednesday 18 September.
Last week an existing minor slip that was under repair expanded, forcing the road to be closed for safety and repair work.
Since then our contractor, OnTrack, has done a fantastic job, working hard through the weekend to ensure the road can reopen safely to motorists again.
The road is expected to fully reopen to two lanes end of September.
The Transport Agency would like to thank the local community for their patience during this time.
