Because of queued vehicles from today’s closure, drivers can still expect delays on this route.

Traffic using State Highway 2 between Kaitoke and Featherston can expect delays following a truck breakdown this afternoon.
A truck and trailer unit has broken down on the Wairarapa side of the Remutaka Hill. The incident was reported at around 1pm.
Efforts are underway to clear the highway. While vehicles can currently make it past the breakdown area, drivers should expect delays while efforts are made to recover the truck are underway.
