The NZ Transport Agency is advising that State Highway 1 just south of Taihape at Gorge Road will be closed to traffic for approximately 20 minutes at around 10am this morning for a truck recovery.
No detour will be available so we are asking road users to delay travel in the area if possible.
Updates on the closure and details of the reopening will be available on the NZTA website and central North Island social media accounts as soon as they are available.
The NZ Transport Agency wants to thank road users for their understanding and patience.
