A fatal crash this afternoon on State Highway 1 on the north side of Hampden, south of Dunedin, means the highway will be closed until around 7 pm tonight.
There are no detours available so motorists are advised to postpone any journeys through Hampden until later tonight. The Police Serious Crash Unit is on site and leading the investigation.
