Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that the southbound passing lane located near the Titiokura Saddle approximately two kilometres South of Waitara Road (heading towards Napier) on State Highway 5 (SH5) will be closed for safety reasons during the Christmas/New Year holiday period, beginning today (Thursday, 22 December 2022).
A 50km/h temporary speed limit is in place.
