State Highway 6 from Haast to Makarora has re-opened in the last hour and will remain open until 9pm. The road will be closed overnight, re-opening at 6am.
State Highway 73 from Cass to Arthur’s Pass will remain open overnight but will be limited to single-lane traffic with speed restrictions. Contractors will be on-site overnight.
