Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising drivers to take care and expect delays when travelling on state highways in Hawkes Bay today, with crews at work clearing slips at a number of sites on the network.
Crews are on site working to clear slip material on SH2 at Devil’s Elbow and Tongoio, at the Mohaka Viaduct near Wairoa, and at several slip sites on SH5 and in Central Hawkes Bay on SH50.
Drivers are asked to comply with all temporary traffic management and speed limits in order to ensure their own safety and the safety of workers clearing the slips.
