Short delays on SH1 south of Tirau from December 15

|

Motorists travelling on State Highway 1 (SH1) south of Tirau are advised to expect short delays for four days next week, while contractors replace a bridge guard rail.

The NZ Transport Agency says stop/go traffic management and a speed restriction of 30km/h will be in place between 7am and 5pm for four days from Monday December 15.

The work is between the township and the new roundabout at the SH1/5 intersection. The job is weather dependent and may be postponed if necessary.

The Transport Agency thanks drivers for their patience and understanding while these works are under way.
