A section of SH36 through The Lakes in Tauranga will be closed overnight while a new bridge is lifted into place.
The NZ Transport Agency would like to advise motorists travelling on SH36 that the state highway between Lakes Boulevard and Kennedy Road will be closed from 7.30pm Wednesday, 3 April until 5.30am Thursday, 4 April.
Detours will be well sign-posted. Alternatively, if rain and wind are too heavy, the work will be done on Friday, 5 April.
