Motorists are advised that State Highway 30 (SH30) near Braemar Road, is closed and a detour is in place via SH34 following a crash earlier this morning, advises the NZ Transport Agency.
It is yet unclear when SH30 just 6 km south of Te Teko will reopen emergency services are at present responding to the crash.
The Transport Agency would like to apologise to motorists for any inconvenience and thanks them for their patience.
