Motorists are being advised that work to tie in the new Haywards Interchange with the existing road is being postponed, due to expected poor weather conditions.
The NZ Transport Agency had been planning for this work to go ahead from 7pm tonight through to Sunday evening.
But rain forecast for the weekend means the work will be delayed until further notice.
