Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising that State Highway 2 is currently closed between Kaitoke and Featherston due to a serious crash.
The Serious Crash Unit is onsite and the road is likely to be closed for some time, which will affect peak traffic hours.
Motorists are advised to delay their journey as there is no viable detour available.
