A stretch of State Highway 2 Hawke’s Bay Expressway will remain closed until later this afternoon following this morning’s serious crash.
The crash, around 8am, closed the Expressway between Taradale and Meeanee Roads.
Emergency services remain on site and this section of road will remain closed until the onsite police investigation is complete.
Road users are advised to avoid any unnecessary travel during this time and to follow the directions from emergency services if travelling.
