SH16 closed at Helensville due to crash

The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that State Highway 16 is closed in both directions between Bradly Road and Wharepapa Road, Helensville due to a crash earlier this morning.

Emergency services are at the scene.

The road is not expected to open until this afternoon. There will be delays and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.

The following detours are in place:

Northbound Traffic

• Right Into Kiwitahi Rd, Left Into Wishart Rd Onto Garfield Rd, Right Back Onto State Highway 16.

Southbound Traffic

• Left Into Puriri Rd, Right Into Garfield Rd Onto Wishart Rd Then Old North Rd. Right Into Taylor Rd, Right Into Waikoukou Valley Rd Onto Waimauku Station Rd, Left Into Factory Rd And Left Back Onto State Highway 16.
