The NZ Transport Agency is advising that the new southbound road layout at Linden along the Tawa straights, created overnight on Thursday 3 August, will be re-done as the tapers onto and off the new alignment require extending. The layout is being returned to its original, straight lanes this afternoon, Friday 4 August, and the Transmission Gully project team hope to be able to re-do the work on Sunday night, 6 August, weather permitting.
As always, drivers are urged to comply with the temporary speed restrictions which will be in place, and to take extra care as everyone gets used to the new road layout.
