The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that State Highway 1 north of Silverdale will be closed on Thursday night 27 September for maintenance work.
Northbound lanes between Millwater and Grand Drive will be closed from 10pm to 4am to allow bridge maintenance. There will be signposted detours in place.
The closure has been scheduled at short notice to fit in with other maintenance and motorway closures already scheduled.
The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their understanding and patience while this essential work is carried out.
