The NZ Transport Agency is advising that all three northbound lanes of State Highway 1 are closed from the Mungavin off-ramp to the Mungavin on-ramp due to an incident.
Police and emergency services are at the scene.
There is heavy congestion on the highway and motorists are advised to follow directions of emergency services, and avoid the area if possible.
