Waka Kotahi advises that the Ruakaka River Bridge on State Highway 15, Port Marsden Highway will close tonight from 7.00pm, Thursday 3 March for road resurfacing.
In order to carry out the works safely, and complete the resurfacing work in one night, a full road closure will be in place at the site until 5am, Friday 4 March.
During this time, a short detour for traffic will be in place via Salle Road and Marsden Point Road.
Works have been brought forward on the 8.5km Port Marsden Highway due to the planned arrival of a container ship at Northport early next week.
