Rotorua Bike Festival on Sunday – delays possible

Motorists travelling on the state highways around Lake Rotorua this Sunday, 22 February, are advised that event traffic management will be in place due to the Rotorua Bike Festival.

The NZ Transport Agency advises minor delays are to be expected.

Event traffic management will be in place at the following locations:

  • Stop / Go at State Highway 30 - Sala Street / Te Ngae intersection
  • Stop / Go at State Highway 30 - Te Ngae Road / Owhata Road roundabout
  • Stop / Go at the State Highway 5 / State Highway 36 Ngongotaha roundabout
  • Single lane closure at SH5 Fairy Springs Road

The event is expected to be finished around 2pm.

The Transport Agency asks drivers to take extra care, watch for cyclists and follow the temporary directional signage.
