The State Highway 2 (SH2) off-ramp to Kairua Road will be closed to traffic between 9am and 4pm, Monday August 18 to enable contractors to carry out earthworks on the area.
Motorists are advised to use the alternative route via State Highway 2 and Welcome Bay Road.
The Kairua Road / State Highway 2 on ramp will be unaffected by these works and will remain open.
In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, or any other factors, the closure will be moved to the next suitable day.
The Transport Agency apologies for any inconvenience caused by this necessary work.
