Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises that chipsealing work will take place on State Highway 25 north of Thames on Friday 12 November and State Highway 2 Karangahake Gorge on Monday 15 November.
Due to narrow sections on both of these highways, traffic may be stopped in both directions for up to 15 minutes at a time while sealing takes place, to ensure the safety of crews and traffic.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
