Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising of overnight closures in central Wellington next week for road works.
From Sunday 5 July to Thursday 9 July, State Highway 1 south of Mount Victoria Tunnel will be closed to southbound traffic, between the hours of 9pm and 5.30am each night.
For southbound traffic, there will be signs for the detour route through Hataitai Village via Taurima Street, Moxham Avenue, Kupe Street and Hamilton Road through to Wellington Road.
On Monday 6 July, State Highway 1 Terrace Tunnel will be closed for one night from 9pm to 4.30am to both north and southbound traffic. The detour will be via other off and on-ramps prior to the tunnel.
On Tuesday 7 July, the Clifton Terrace on-ramp to State Highway 1 will be closed for one night from 9pm to 4.30am. Traffic will detour via other on-ramps.
