The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 9 August.
Northern Motorway (SH1)
- Northcote Road southbound off ramp 8 August
Central Motorway Junction (SH1 & SH16)
- (SH1) Northbound lanes between Symonds Street off ramp and Fanshawe Street on ramp 6 - 8 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
- (SH1) Wellington Street northbound on ramp 6 - 8 August
- SH16 eastbound to SH1 northbound link 6 - 8 August
- SH16 Port westbound to SH1 northbound link 6 - 8 August
- SH16 eastbound to SH1 southbound link 8 August
- SH1 southbound to SH16 eastbound (Port) link 8 August
Southern Motorway (SH1)
- Khyber Pass Road southbound on ramp 4 - 6 August
- Westbound lanes between Ellerslie-Panmure Highway roundabout and Great South Road 4 August
- Papakura northbound off ramp 6 August
- Papakura southbound off ramp 4 August
- Papakura northbound (loop) on ramp 4 August
Northwestern Motorway(SH16)
- Newton Road eastbound off ramp 5 August
- St Lukes Road westbound off ramp 4 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
- Great North Road eastbound off ramp 5 - 6 August
- Great North Road westbound off ramp 6 - 9 August
- Lincoln Road eastbound on ramp 4 August
- Eastbound lanes between Lincoln Road off ramp and Te Atatu Road on ramp 4 August
Southwestern Motorway (SH20)
- Southbound lanes between Puhinui Road off ramp and Puhinui Road on ramp 6 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
- Neilson Street southbound off ramp 5 & 7 August
- Neilson Street southbound on ramp 4, 6 & 8 August
- Northbound lanes between Hillsborough Road off ramp and Dominion Road on ramp 5 - 6 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
- Hillsborough Road northbound on ramp 5 - 6 August
