The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. State Highway 1 northbound lanes will be closed between Great South Road off-ramp (Manukau) and Redoubt Road on-ramp.
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. State Highway 1 northbound lanes will be closed between Great South Road off-ramp (Manukau) and Redoubt Road on-ramp.
Please note that the off-ramp and on-ramp will both remain open to traffic.
These closures are required for the construction of the SH1-SH20 Interchange, part of the SH20 Manukau Extension project.
All work is subject to delay due to poor weather, in which case the work will be postponed to the next available date.
Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detours. The NZTA thanks you for your co-operation during these essential improvements and maintenance.
