One lane has now been reopened to traffic northbound at Takanini following a multi vehicle crash. All southbound lanes are now open.
In a separate incident a truck has rolled on the Takanini on-ramp northbound and the NZ Transport Agency says there will still be significant delays.
Northbound traffic is advised to use either the Drury exit or Papakura exit through to Great South Road, or avoid the area if possible.
