The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise motorists there will be resealing and drainage works at various locations on SH1 between Oteha Valley Road and the Orewa interchange, starting on Sunday 15 March 2009.
The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise motorists there will be resealing and drainage works at various locations on SH1 between Oteha Valley Road and the Orewa interchange, starting on Sunday 15 March 2009.
The works will be carried out at night between 8.30pm – 5.30am, when traffic volumes are light and there is the least disruption for road users. Works are expected to take around 4 weeks, and will be completed before Easter weekend in mid-April.
During this time, there will be closures to both northbound and southbound lanes, on and off ramp closures, and in one instance a full motorway closure. You will receive notification of the ramp closures and full motorway closures via the weekly traffic bulletin, distributed each Friday for the following week.

These works are important to ensure the motorway network is kept in a good and safe condition and will improve the safety and ride comfort for road users, and minimise road noise through the area.
