Two nights of work have been scheduled to repair the deck boards of the Luggate Red Bridge next week – Wednesday and Thursday nights, 12 and 13 December.
The NZ Transport Agency’s Aspiring Highways team will repair the bridge’s boards, in Queenstown Lakes District, ahead of the upcoming holiday period when high traffic volumes are expected.
“We recommend that people who normally use the bridge at night make alternative travel plans and build in extra time on their journeys,” says Mark Stewart, Maintenance Contract Manager, for the Transport Agency.
The Transport Agency thanks everyone for their patience and for taking care while traveling along the detour route during the works, says Mr Stewart.
