People travelling on SH1 between Portland Road and the SH15 roundabout can expect a night time closure with a detour via Loop Road from Monday 8 April between 7pm and 5:30am.
The works are to construct a critical and deep service line across the road necessary for the Loop Road Safety Improvement project.
The works are for four nights only. SH1 will be fully reinstated each night for regular use during the day.
There are two one-way bridges along the Loop Rd/SH15 detour route which can accommodate heavy traffic.
Oversized loads will not be able to travel during this period unless they have already determined their ability to cross the detoured single lane bridges.
