The Transport Agency is advising that the Ngauranga Gorge is open again after strong winds loosened a directional sign over the highway and the road was closed for safety reasons.
Contractors have secured the sign, which is in the area of the recent slip.
The southbound lane closest to the slip remains closed with further repair work to the slip site, due to get underway when weather conditions allow.
