Wellington, Porirua, Kāpiti, Hutt
State Highway 1
SH1 Peka Peka northbound ONRAMP and one lane CLOSED
- Tuesday, 17 January and Wednesday, 18 January, day/night for resurfacing
- For northbound access to the expressway detour via the old state highway to the Ōtaki northbound onramp.
SH1 Wellington, Cobham Drive
- Monday, 16 January, during the day, 9 am-3 pm
- One lane closed each direction for project work.
SH1 Wellington, Vivian Street
- Monday, 16 January, 7 pm-5.30 am
- Southbound one lane closed for digital sign maintenance.
SH1 Peka Peka
- Thursday, 19 January, and Friday, 20 January, during the day, 8.30 am-4 pm
- Southbound one lane closed for resurfacing
SH1 Kilbirnie, Wellington Road
- Wednesday, 18 January, 7 pm-5 am
- Stop/go traffic control for fire hydrants maintenance.
SH1 Transmission Gully
- Monday 16 January, 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.
- There will be lane closures in both directions for planned works to repair flexible road safety barriers in multiple locations along Transmission Gully.
SH1 Transmission Gully/SH59, Paekākāriki interchange
- Tuesday 17 to Thursday 19 January, 7 pm-5.30 am.
- Stop/go traffic management in place at the Paekākāriki on and off ramps for Transmission Gully, for overnight watermain works.
State Highway 59
SH59 Linden, north of Transmission Gully Motorway interchange
- Wednesday, 18 January, 7 am-3 pm
- Northbound one lane closed for bridge works
- Expect occasional daytime northbound one lane closures for the next three months.
SH59 Pukerua Bay
- Starting Monday 9 January 2023 to mid-February, day/night
- Stop/go traffic control fulltime for hillside stabilisation works.
