Lower North Island
- Lighting upgrade work and night closures continue for The Terrace Tunnel
- Work on rockfall protection near the summit of State Highway 2 Remutaka Hill is ongoing. Expect short travel delays on Monday at 1 am during a brief heli-lift operation
- Road rehabilitation works continue State Highway 2 in Carterton. The detour and southbound closure will remain in place this weekend.
- Wellington drivers head to the Miramar Peninsula need to keep an eye out for runners in the Wellington marathon this Sunday. While State highway 1 Cobham Drive will remain open, access to and from Evans Bay Parade will be closed.
Top of the South Island
- Work is underway preparing for the construction of a new roundabout near Blenheim airport on State Highway 6 – Woodbourne.
- Overnight closures are ongoing for safety barrier works on State Highway 60 Ruby Bay
- Work has been extended until 12 July to complete improvements to the Whakatu Coastal Pathway section of the Great Taste Cycle Trail in Nelson alongside State Highway 6, Whakatu Drive.
- Drivers heading through Motueka on State Highway 60/High Street can expect to see road closures from 16-27 June as the Tasman District Council carries out stormwater upgrades. Local road detours will be available. More information can be found on the Tasman District Council website.
