Important information for drivers.
Drivers need to be ready for speed restrictions and road closures at various locations on Anzac Day (Thursday, 25 April). These will be in place for services and commemoration events. Drivers must obey all road closures and follow all temporary speed restrictions at Anzac Day events.
Because people may choose to extend the Anzac Day holiday into a long weekend and the end of the school holidays, extra traffic is likely on the roads at the end of the week and into next weekend. Drivers may encounter congestion and traffic delays and should allow extra time for their travel. Caution is needed in holiday traffic. Please, watch your speed, drive safely, and share the roads with care.
