North Island
- Six weeks of finishing works get underway next week for the State Highway 2 Masterton to Carterton safety improvements project.
- Regular users on State Highway 2, Remutaka Hill, need to be ready for planned night-time maintenance closures beginning Sunday, 5 November.
- Night works and directional closures are planned for State Highway 1 and State Highway 59 in mid-November for installation of new speed management and traffic monitoring equipment.
South Island
- There will be stop/go traffic controls and a temporary speed limit in place on State Highway 6 next week as contractors fix a slip on the Rai Saddle.
- Maintenance and resurfacing works begin this weekend on State Highway 60, Tākaka Hill

- Drivers can expect short delays of up to 15 minutes

SH6 Trass Valley Road, Kotahu/Kawatiri Highway
- Thursday, 7 am – 6 pm (weather dependent)
- Traffic management: Stop/go 30km speed restrictions

SH6 Foxhill, Wakefield to Belgrove
- Monday, 9 October to Friday, 15 December. 7 am – 6 pm (Mon-Fri)
- Possibility of Saturday works at times as may be required
- Temporary Speed Limit of 30km/h. Road users can expect travel delays of around 15 minutes.
- Road reconstruction work
- During nights and weekends when no work is taking place, a 50km/h speed restriction will be in place
SH6 Whangamoa Hill, east of Wakapuaka Bridge
- Daily, 24/7
- Single lane closure with stop/go and 30 km/h traffic management,
- A shoulder closure will be in place at night.

SH6 Dellow’s Bluff, Murchison
- 30 km/h speed restrictions. Road is open to two lanes

State Highway 60
SH60 Tākaka Hill Night closures
- 29 October to 24 November, Sunday to Thursday 8 pm - 5:30 am
- Resurfacing, road repairs and general maintenance
- The road will be opened once each night of the closures. Vehicles travelling over the hill need to be at the Aaron Creek Road closure point by 12:30 am for eastbound travel or at the Riwaka Valley Road closure point by 1 am for westbound travel. Once queued traffic is clear the road will return to closed until 5:30 am
SH60 Tākaka between Waitapu Road and Haldane Road
- 2 October to 15 November, 7 am – 6 pm
- Pavement repairs
- Stop/go traffic management with 30km/h temporary speed restrictions
- Drivers can expect 10-minute delays
SH60 Motueka, Lyndhurst Drive to Parker Street
- Stop/Go traffic management, local road detours and temporary speed restrictions
