- Resilience works planned for State Highway 1 at Dashwood have been rescheduled, as have resurfacing works on State Highway 6 at Havelock, and a road rebuild is planned for early next month on State Highway 1 at Grovetown.
- In Nelson/Tasman, line marking is planned for State Highway 6 Hope Saddle on Wednesday and Thursday nights, between 9 pm and 5 am (finishes 5 am Friday) . Because the highway is narrow over the Hope Saddle, the work will be done under 30-minute stop/stop traffic management to ensure the safety of road crews and drivers. After each 30-minutes of line marking work, the highway will reopen to clear queued traffic. It means drivers can expect 30-minute delays travelling through the area while this work is underway.
- There has also been a minor change to traffic management plans for State Highway 6 Dellows Bluff near Murchison on Saturday. Stop/Stop traffic controls will no longer be in place as originally scheduled.
The details below outline the main planned state highway roadworks occurring in the greater Wellington region and the top of the South Island over the coming week (from Saturday 15 February).
