North Island:
- There will be maintenance closures for The Terrace Tunnel (Monday night) and Mt Victoria Tunnel (Tuesday night) on SH1 in Wellington. The closures will run from 9 pm to 4:30 am. Drivers travelling through the city will have to use alternate routes and can expect longer travel times.
- Work begins this weekend in Featherston on a safer new pedestrian crossing on State Highway 2.
- Southbound lane closures are coming for State Highway 1 and State Highway 59 this coming Monday and Tuesday. There will also be a partial closure of State Highway 58 on Saturday for Transmission Gully project works
South Island:
- Chip sealing works will be underway at a number of locations across the top of the South Island until Christmas.
- Maintenance and resurfacing works continue until 24 November on State Highway 60, Tākaka Hill

Travellers going through Picton need to be aware of ongoing work on Dublin Street. A closure is in place until approximately March 2025, while a new overbridge and other infrastructure is built. More details can be found on the Marlborough District Council website and on the iRex project website
