NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) advises that night works are being undertaken on the section of State Highway 3 (Sloane Street) at Te Awamutu between Vaile Street and Fraser Street. The works will involve some lane closures each evening between 7pm and 6am from Tuesday 29 March until Friday 1 April
NZTA Regional Operations Manager Trevor Fearnley says the work is to enable the road to be resurfaced.
“Some delays are possible while these works are undertaken, the road will remain open but with single lane stop/go traffic management in place. The NZTA thanks motorists for their patience.”
This work is weather dependant and in the event of adverse weather it will be completed on the next suitable day.
