NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is advising Northland motorists that the new Kaeo Bridge will partially open on the morning of Friday 2 February 2024.
Both north and southbound traffic will operate on a one-way system under traffic management on the new bridge, and the old bridge will be closed to traffic to start demolition.
Road users are urged to take care as people adjust to this change and as road crews will continue to work on finishing the bridge and connecting roads.
NZTA thanks road users for their patience while the remainder of these works are completed.
