Emergency closure of State Highway 1 (SH1) from Takanini to Hill Road, northbound.
The NZ Transport Agency would like to advise drivers that State Highway 1 (SH1) from Takanini to Hill Road, northbound will be closed tonight, Wednesday 4 November 2015, to recover a truck that rolled off the motorway earlier today.
To minimise disruption to drivers, the closures will be timed between 9pm and 5am when traffic is lighter.
A signposted detour will be in place and drivers are asked to follow the signposted routes while work is being carried out to ensure that this section of the motorway remains safe while we carry out this work.
The Transport Agency thanks drivers for their patience, and apologises for any inconvenience while this important work is carried out.
